Problem: A leading driveline and transmission manufacturer was looking to make an acquisition in fast growing industries including agriculture, defence, wind turbine, construction equipment and industrial gearboxes. The customer wanted to first understand its position in agriculture driveline and transmission market.
Action: The project started with a deep dive into the customer positioning and offering vs competition in agriculture driveline and transmissions. The deep was very technical and i used my mechanical engineering background – inc. analysis of powertrain for Ricardo – to provide unique insight. I lead the target company identification based on the customer mandate. The selection was based on target company size, profitability, growth, CAGR, market sectors, countries, products, and OEM vs. Tier 1/2.
Result: The customer successfully acquired one of the top 3 recommended target company. The competitive intelligence enabled the customer to make improvement to its offering and grow its market share in the agriculture market.

Problem: Customer – a leading bearing manufacturer – wanted to identify new growth opportunities and perform competitor analysis
Action: Performed deep technical analysis of the customer current portfolio across industries: passenger car, wind turbine, Mining Mobile & Static Equipment. Analysis included: bearing market overview, detailed analysis by sector inc. bearing type, bearing size, applications, risk/benefits, commodity or differentiated product, ranking & attractiveness. competitor offering, competition intensity on specific product. Conducted interview of leading bearing consultancy.
Result: Created a highly technical and details analysis of the bearing market and specific sectors leading to the customer investing additional R&D as well as build sales team for specific products and sectors.

Problem: Sales representatives had a poor win rate, and struggled to handle customer questions and objections.
Action: Created a tailored training leveraging Challenger Sales methodology embedding customer real sales opportunities. Implemented role play with Sales reps and SDR teams to improve their objection handling. Provided training on customer solutions highlighting key differentiation and positioning vs. competitors.
Result: Increased closing rate by 20%, customer satisfaction increase as sales reps had a better understanding of the solution they were selling and could better handle objections.
Lead generation process optimization leveraging AI agents

Problem: Customer was using expensive tools to generate leads with poor quality. With up 80% of contacts created being of poor quality.
Action: Screened state-or-the-art lead generation software, interviewed SDR director and Marketing outreach specialists, to identify a tool with cost per leads x10 cheaper with data enrichment using AI, increasing lead quality.
Result: 30% increase in opportunities creation, 80% increase in lead quality. Introduce the lead generation platform to the customer sales & marketing team replacing more costly and less efficient tool. Train the sales team on using AI prompt for data enrichment leading to more tailored email outreach campaign.
